I’m Done Shrinking—What Wellness Looks Like in My 40s

For years, I thought wellness was about shrinking. Shrinking my body. Shrinking my appetite. Shrinking my presence to fit into someone else’s idea of what “healthy” should look like.

But somewhere between my 30s and 40s, I realized something powerful: I was made to expand — not in size, but in strength, joy, and confidence.

🌿 Wellness Looks Different Now

In my 40s, wellness isn’t about chasing smaller jeans. It’s about chasing peace. It’s about waking up with energy, moving my body in ways that feel good, and saying no to things that drain me.

I lift weights to feel strong.

I walk to clear my mind.

I rest because I deserve it.

✨ I’m Redefining “Results”

The real results aren’t just physical. They’re emotional, mental, and spiritual.

It’s the confidence to show up on camera without second-guessing.

It’s the power to lead a walking group and help other women feel seen and supported.

It’s the freedom to eat without guilt and move without punishment.

🩷 Wholeness Over “Weight Loss”

I’m done measuring my worth by the scale. My wellness journey now is about wholeness, not weight. It’s about becoming the strongest, happiest, most grounded version of myself — inside and out.

So no, I’m not shrinking anymore.

I’m growing.

I’m glowing.

I’m becoming everything I was meant to be — without apology.
